Who is Kia Vaughn?

Well, you dont know now...but you will soon.

Kia is a member of the Rutgers women's basketball team and a model student and athlete. In the wake of Don Imus' comments, the team has remained fairly level headed and handled this unfortunate situation with dignity and grace...until now. Yesterday, Ms. Vaughn decided to sue Mr. Imus for his comments. She accuses him of libel and slander and causing personal emotional distress.
I dont know about you but it sounds like someone found out they couldnt make a living in the WNBA or perhaps realized they just arent that good. What do you do? I know, sue that one guy who made some racist remarks for tons of money and get your name in the papers.

Sounds fishy to me...read a great op-ed about it here.

Too bad. For some reason, female basketball players seem different than other female athletes to me-- much more tenacious, aggressive, and lesbian. Also, did you know that the WNBA is still not even close to being self-sufficient-- that most of their funding comes from NBA revenue. No wonder some of these girls come with a built-in inferiority complex.

Furthermore, when you eat baby carrots with a brownie, it has the exact same consistency as coconut. I rest my case.
